Does the 1.7el have a hood liner? what oem sound deading material would be compatible with the civic?
Mostly interested in a hoodliner but I heard the aftermarket ones don't stick very well.

Rep Power: 0 I'm not too sure how much sound deadening it does, but holy cow, my car is friggen loud while on the road...
1.7EL, leather, auto, no engine mods, sunroof. Compare that to Civic sedan, cloth interior, no roof, auto, no engine mods. Both stock rubber.
My car is louder by alot. I'm not talking vroom vroom "nice" loud, just annoying road noise loud. That stock sound deadening material is better than nothing I suppose, but it also traps dirt 'n crap.
