Rep Power: 248 H&R OE Sport Springs/Sport Springs
Hey guys,
A few quick questions regarding the title (please bare with me if you've already helped me ): Firstly, if you don't sharing, how much did you pay for your springs? I just want to make sure I'm paying a decent price for brand new springs. Also, anyone here have the OE Sport Springs (1.3-1.4" drop) as opposed to just the Sport Springs (1.5-2.0" drop)?
Lastly, many have said that they recommend upgrading the stock shocks if going with the 1.5-2.0" drop. What if I only go with a 1.3" drop (c/o the OE SS's)? I guess what I'm trying to ask here is, are there any springs I could go with that wouldn't require me to replace my stock shocks? I've heard someone mention going with Eibach Pro's for a 1.3" drop. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 My stock front struts started leaking within 1 week of being lowered. My second set has lasted over a year and a half and is still pretty decent.
If you have a 2003 plus I think your chances of having your stock stuts last is better.

Rep Power: 0 Tein S-tech. They say 1.7 but it looks like a bit more. I just finished putting them in my girlfriends civic and did mine last week. They ride like stock, I couldn't tell the difference. I paid $230 tax in at JRP each, JDM wherehouse quoted me $210 (found out after I already purchased them). I installed them myself, not hard at all. Neuspeed sports go for around $250. Both cars were bought used and the struts were already replaced. When they blow I'll prolly get blues.

and ask for Roger, his price will beat your friend;'s $300 best deal for sure
but if u going to buy aftermarket struts later, might as well do it right the first time - go with full coilover (Tein SS)

Also if you're gonna buy from them, let me know. I'll porlly going to do rear camber kits on 2 cars, they may give us a price break if I went there to buy a third set of springs and 4 rear camber arms (6 if you're gonna do yours too).
I'm not sure if I'm gonna do a camber kit, I'm not lowering it that much.. maybe bout a 1.5 drop max. Also, that place sell shocks? I might do the springs and shocks all at once. Koni Yellows or Tokico Blues? I'd rather spray them black or silver..

Rep Power: 0 well I've been running H&R's with stock shocks.. even on circuit they handled pretty well .... also its been 2 + years and they still work well with my stock shocks...not to low and a lil stiffer so the stress on the shocks arent as bad...
Telly's right you dont need a camber kit... but it helps and saaves you in the long run on tires... the only way you can save tire .. is by running a lil' less air on your tire to expand the contact patch... which also isnt that good for tires... so bottom line is.. YES still do get camber kits...
Tareon..PM me and i'll see what I can get you as far as springs and camber kits

6985 Davand Dr unit 11 & 12
Mississauga, On.
Tel:905-564-8805
It's off Derry road between Tomken and Dixie.
They are moving in a couple of weeks and are supposed to be having a crazy sale so that they don't have to move so much stuff.

I used the e-mail sales@jdmwarehouse.com for the prices. $210 tax in for the S-tech, $240 tax in for neuspeed sprot is what I got quoted.
