Where can I get spacers for front speakers

Hi everyone. I just want to know where I can get spacers for the front speakers, for those who have them.

My deck was cutting out for some reason, and I figured out it had something to do with the driver side speaker. I did a ghetto install job. I used twist ties and tighten them down. When took apart the drivers side door, I noticed the magnet sticking to the metal on the door ( I guess that's why my speakers where cutting out). I fix it, but I blew my front left speaker. It only sounds a little distorted now, but I know it'll get worse. Speakers don't cut out anymore, but I can notice the distortion now.

I don't want to buy new speakers until I get spacers, so this situation never happens again. Where can I get spacers in the GTA? or where can I order them? I heard www.crutchfield.com has them, but I'm not sure if they deliver to canada. I would rather buy locally, but if you know of a place in the GTA, let me know.

Thanks, Phu.

(I'm so stupid, I should do things right the first time)

Call Technobay at 905-629-3020. Ask for Jason, tell him Will with the Acura EL sent you. Tell him you're looking for the Metra speaker kit for the 2001-2004 Civic. They're located in Mississauga, Dixie and Eglinton area.

Yuppers, but it won't be very clean - that's what I originally did, but when I got my CDT's I bought the spacers then wrapped them in B-Quiet.

Best Buy wouldn't sell me spacers...they said I had to get something installed to get them, so I pretended to be from the States and needing them for a big show....they had to get their manager and eventually he relented. Took a lot of convincing and a (bad) southern accent. I can't believe they bought it - a bad southern accent from Filipino...

Speaker spacer for 7thgen civic

Print this pdf and use as a pattern. I made this custom for my Boston Components. I would use 3/4" - 1" MDF for the spacer. I am planning on posting a DIY when I am done with mine! Let me know how it works for you.
