Got A Improper Headlight Ticket

i honestly admire cops... and especially my neighbour, whose's becoming one. she's still moving on her way up.. but she'll get to be one soon.

but other then that... some cops just pisses me the hell off.

basically... one of my front headlights blew...

i should of just put on the daytime running lights on... that damn cop wouldnt of known the difference

gave me a god damn ticket for over 100bucks...
for improper headlights

i even told him that it was working two days ago.
and blah blah blah .... it's my responsibility.

but F U C K, 100BUCKS?

i swear to god that some cops are just f u c k ing bull S H I T T ERS who has nothing else to do but give out F U C K I N G BULL S H I T TICKETS to ppl that pay hard earn taxes to their F U C K ING SALARIES

if i keep getting these bull s h i t tickets... i may turn into one of those ppl on the news who goes on a rampage of shooting cops.

any ways of getting around the system in York Region?

Take that **** to court and tell them that the bulb had just blown and you couldn't take it to Honda to get it changed that day. It will get thrown out for sure

Tell them both. I agree, I sometimes encounter cops who are more concerned about hassling guys with nice cars than actual public safety. But then again there are those who truly SERVE AND PROTECT. If not for those guys, who knows what our law enforcement system would degrade into?

Exactly!! if EVERYONE that got a BS ticket fought the system it would serve to help us a little I think. If I get a ticket at DKN I'm fighting it for sure.

If everyone that gets a BS ticket from this thing fights it it'll tie up the courts so bad that it may make them question the program. especially when the vast majority get thrown out

its not taking it to court.. anyone can do that.. il losing a day or work for this bs...
luckily I work construction and having a great union.. Local 183.. gotta represent...
they pay for the lawyers to ebat my tickets.. so all I have to pay is the reduction or nothing at all.. Ive gotten 10 tickets in the past 2 years.. and all being thrown out... my suggestion is:
become a construction worker
hehe

I was listening to radio, they were talking about street racing... this cop came on the air, and said he's on a mission, stopping any car that looks lowered and give them tickets, and when he does come across highly modified ones, then tickets the hell out of them and call the insurace company right then and there and give them the list of mods the cars got.

wtf.

Unwarranted and unfair. I heard about this from someone else. What, did this guy lose his family in a shootout with Vin Diesel? Seriously man, that's profiling. It's like saying "I'm gonna stop every black guy I see cause I KNOW he stole that car". You know what, my car is slammed and has big rims, so what? I don't speed, I don't run stop signs, I don't race. My driving and criminal record is spotless, and has been for over 7 years. My parts were all obtained in a legitimate manner, so theft is not a concern. But if that cop were to spot me he would waste no time pulling me over, and I'm sure he would spend a good half hour just circling it looking for violations and grey area equipment offences. It takes less time than that for a criminal to break into a house, execution-style-murder the family of 5 inside, and take several thousand dollars' worth of possessions. And if fate has a sense of humour, that guy would speed past that cop while he nitpicks on a Del Sol with an aluminum wing and 16" Motegis. And the thief would be in an old Chrysler Dynasty getaway car, which means the cop wouldn't bat an eye cause it's not a modified import. This makes me sick. I now actively avoid the east end of Toronto after dark just so I don't get hassled. It's like having a freakin curfew. By profiling and treating all import enthusiasts like 2fast2furious car thieves and racers, police are simply enlarging the gap between youth and the law. Profiling goes both ways you know. Cops treat us like thieves and racers (not all of us are), tuners treat cops like nitpicky prejudiced a$$holes (a good majority are NOT).
