Got an improper muffler ticket!!

As the title says, i got a ticket for an improper muffler.

I'ver spoken to numerous people about how to deal with this ticket. Most say it'll get dropped in court if i show a receipt saying that another muffler has been installed.

What are your opinions on this? Or anybody with personal experience?

I got hit over the weekend with the project ERASE blitz. Heard 500 cars got pulled over and 300 got tickets.

Any help would be appreciated!

hey man whered ya get pulled over? you live close to me so just wondering

what exhaust/muffer you have? was it a question of it was too loud, or it was more than an inch from your bumper? cuz i was told that this 1 inch BS warrants a ticket

well if its abt sound, maybe it would help if you put a silencer on and take a pic. then at court, show them the pic, and that the problem has been rectified. dunno if that will work but it may. thats what my buddy's doing, and he took like 800 and change in tickets one night, 5 tickets!

anyways man, good luck

Send a PM to Narc.

This should be in the legal section (Canada) but since it's a local issue I'll leave it alone.
