Rep Power: 0 double sided tape
i need help finding a strong double sided tape to install my side and rear skirts. i already bought some double sided tape at crappy tire and it's not strong or sticky enough to hold the side skirts. i installed my side skirts two weeks ago and after a week it started to come off but the skirts are still on the car coz of the bracket underneath the car supporting it. did anyone run into this problem??? i also checked home depot and they have the 3m double sided tape but not strong enough, same crappy $***. im thinking of bringing it to a shop to get the side and rear skit installed. oh... its oem aero sides and 04 rear skirt by the way and i have an 02 civic. the rear fits ok with slight modification i think. do you guys have any suggestions on what brand double sided tape to use and where to get it. also a good shop to get em installed nad how much they charge. any suggestion would be great thanks!!!

it's expensive... but wtf... when you need it, you need it. so i bought it.

Rep Power: 0 ^ Same with me, that stuff is good...installed my rear skirt and it seems really tight.
One thought is that you have to make sure everything is insanely clean before sticking the skirt on...any kind of grease or dust will hinder adherance greatly. I used rubbing alcohol to clean both surfaces and held my breath for most of the install so I didn't stir up any dust.

Rep Power: 0 I needed some strong double sided tape also, so I went to Home Depot tonight and found exactly the stuff you guys were talking about. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this one will work and my stupid pager alarm sensor wont keep falling off the windshield.

Rep Power: 0 The suction cup sounds like a good idea but how do get it to hold the sensor? Is there 2 sided suction cups or something? Or a suction cup with glue on the other side?

Rep Power: 344 Why not velcro it under your visor? Just grab the hooks side of a velcro strip, stick that on the sensor, and velcro to a spot of your headliner under the visor (or the visor itself?)

Rep Power: 344 I use the industrial-strength stuff I found at Homo Depot (while hunting for foam tape). That stuff holds like a crack ho to a pipe.
