u kno that u have to setup the endlinks to its proper length.. i juss matched the length of grey's endlinks to factory one...

how did u setup urs and does urs make the same sound as im experiencing.. i hate yucky sound coming out of my car...

I shortened mine (by eyeballing it) so that they would be 90 degrees on both joints when the car was lowered to the ground. Took a few tries due to springs settling, but I got it right finally.
As for the rattling - I don't have that problem with the endlinks. My exhaust pipe DOES hit the sway bar, so I just wrapped some rad hose around the sway bar at ALL points of contact with the exhaust pipe. The "clunk clunk" is gone, replaced by a barely audible thump.
Oh and btw as for the rattling, you may wanna try some lithium grease smeared generously on all moving parts of the endlinks, as well as in and around the sway bar bushings. My car is pretty quiet now. Nonetheless, I'm gonna raise the rear back up at least a 1/4" when I get my coilovers.

hey APR... first grease the bushings alot... then check if ur bar is hitting the exhuast pipe b/c that's the main cause of the sound with 19mm... and stock endlinks...

i got grey's endlinks on 22mm and the ball joint of the endlinks move swift and easy... which creates the metal on metal contact on the endlinks... so grey told me to put a vibration cushion between the washer and the balljoint.. ???

this is exactly what he said:
"The idea is to just cushion the moving parts so that through the movement you don't get any metal on metal contact."

i dunno if telly did that or u juss slap alot of grease on those moving parts...
i think tomorrow imma adjust the endlinks shorter (i have it set stock legnth right now) and slap alot of grease on those ball joints so it won't be metal or metal...

Dude, my endlinks don't move enough to get metal to metal contact. If your car is lowered, then the distance from control arm to sway bar is lowered proportionately. Shorten the endlinks accordingly.

Just got back from the other Honda dealership here in London, and the driver's side endlink needed to be tightened. That's all...i had my car at the usual dealership i go to all morning, and they said it was fixed....bullshit!!! Damn dealerships, i'm not going to that one anymore...there is absolutely no noise now, thank god. Horrific sound that metal to metal noise...hope you get your prob. fixed RW.

thanx bro.. yeah i think my problem is that the endlinks where set to the stock height so i got to make the lenght of it lower to adjust with my ride height and less movement from it...

hey telly sorry for al these questions but yeah could u give me an approximate lenght of ur endlinks or like how many threads is out... so i can follow the same...

I won't have time till prolly tomorrow or Sunday, but I'll tell you there's not a lot of threads sticking out...

And of course you shouldn't refer to my car anyway, cause our drops are probably different, even if we had the same springs. My rear end is dumped, what with the box back there.
