How Long Did Your Stock Tires Last?
Mine lasted 45,000km and they are just about at the indicator, meaning they need to be replaced soon! That's crazy...

^^ Ya same here. I got 50,000 KM out of mine. They are now down to the wear line. I think I am going to try am have a smoke show, if my civic will even make them smoke
, with them once I find some new rims to get.

Still going strong at 8,600km.
Granted these Firestones are not the greatest tires, but they have gotten me through this winter without any major problems and are 110% better than the stock Michelins that came on my old 1.6EL. I wish they were a little wider and lower profile though, oh well I fix that when I replace them.

I think I ran about 70km and their about 60% left, they were not even winter driven. I personally didn't like them. Maybe that's why they changed them on the newer models.
the stock firestone's are supposed to last well over 100,000 km but i guess we all drive our cars differently.
i drive like a f*cking old fart to save as much tread on my summer tires as possible. 18" parada spec 2's ain't cheap and i'm trying to stretch the treadlife to at least 4 summers.

wow... I'm so surprised to see that tires only last like 50, 000 kms. I thought the majority of tires should last around at least 80,000 to 100,000 kms.
I don't have those firestones that came with all the previous civics. I got bridgestone potenza's on my car. Only 1100 kms so far, so can't really tell yet.

Another thing as well. American is not a language, so you technically can't speak american.
WTF does a wear indicator look like?!?!
I'm running the stocks for at least 50-60k already, and running Arctic Alpins in the winter. My winter rubbers almost gone... Noooo
Auto tranny owns me, I can't burn out the cheap stock Firestones

I'm at 67k after switching to snow tires for a second winter (first winter with Firestones, *shiver*) and will need new tires for the next summer on.
So yeah, 40-50k is absolute max for these crap OEM tires.
