lock nuts dont always work.

most of them are the same i believe.......... if you already have one... you can use it on other cars

same with the aftermarket lock nuts... the one i have, i've used it on other wheels that have lock nuts

so if you have one.. or can find one... or even just buy one. you can basically steal any rim you want.

having one may just make it a lil' more work for the punks/losers...... but if they really want to steal it.. they'll find a way, one way or another

yes, nothing is 100% safe, accept maybe taking the wheels off when you park your car and bringing them inside with you.

i think its disgusting that someone would do that...but im sure your insurance will cover your wheels and damage to your car.

i kinda know how you feel....just do whatever you need to do to move on....

Lock nuts are just like steering wheel clubs, they make it harder and if there's an easier target than it may save your car.

Are you sure that's not someone from where you live. It's kind of odd they found your car in covered parking and taped the camera, I'd be checking around close to where you live.

well let me know if you want those rims again, cause if insurance makes you replace them I can give you a good deal on my set. Mine are of a 2003 SIR so I have' got the better finish and center cap and WAY better tires!

Your insurance will cover repleacement for stock rims, they will ikely get them for you, i doubt they will cut you a check, I have never seen them do that ... They may ask the age of the rims and the tires ...just an FYI

and insurance is ****** me over too....they wont get me new honda rims cause theyre 513 each...and they wont replace mine with those cause of the depreciated value...so basically their giving me a choice between sum 15 inch american racing rims...to replace my stolen 15s
i feel like im gettin ****ed over like whoa....and they wont cut me a check...gotta love insurance eh

if your stock rims cost 513 each new or NOT they still have to replace them. Thats what you had, and that what they should be replacing for you.

if they refuse I'd take their asses to court over it.

All they have to give you is what the depreciated value of the rim is, NOT NEW... the ontario auto policy is not a replacement cost policy, its an ACTUAL CASH VALUE policy, which means they have to give you what they were worth at the time of the theft, not what they are brand new ... it sucks, but what they are doing is perfectly legal...By the way, this should be nder your comprehensive coverage ...

The *** clowns that did that had to know the layout of the lot (since they knew where the camera is) Did you ever catch anyone lookin at your car when you parked it there? check past video survaillance tapes to see if any cars people krept up to take a look (you never know, some criminals are pretty dumb)
