Right when you thought things were going to change!.......... Brian Leetch, with an amazing debut... 3 assists.................. they lose to the goddamn SABERS!
NOTHING HAS CHANGED OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS!
---- play good against good competitive teams..... and lose to teams who are not even in the playoff run.
it's Pat Quinn's damn system......... needs a DAMN CHANGE!
and Tie Domi.. i hate the loser... i dont know how he's a fan favourite.......... that guy backs out nowadays in fights... and acts like a brat on the ice
if you ever watch him long enough... he falls/flops on the ice almost once in every three times he is hit. the guy cant stand on his own two damn feet.
a w u ss y tough guy is not worth $2million dollars a year.......... should of let that loser to the Stars when he was a free agent
get a new coach!... i bet all trades still go through Pat Quinn's approval.
anybody still remember Ted Nolan? hahahah...
at least somebody.... JUST CHANGE THE COACH.

Leafs...hmm. Dare I discuss this with a Leaf fan. Ok, but just this once.
Brian Leetch: Well his debut was really nice it's funny that nobody including the media bothered to point out that they were playing the Islanders. I read through all the "Your Call" posts on the TSN website and had a good laugh Friday at lunch.
Why they teamed him up with Brian McCabe is beyond me. The two of them are a liability. Neither one knows how to "stay at home" and play back. What are they gonna do when Leetch and McCabe are behind the opposition net? Maybe Sundin and Domi can play back..haha. The highlight package they showed the day he was signed was about 10 goals he scored in front of the net. How about a highlight package of all the goals he got burned on in front of his own net.
Pat Quinn: ENOUGH WITH THE GUM CHEWING ALREADY!! He doesn't have a system. You only need to watch them play to figure that out. Nobody has a set assignment. It's a damn
free-4-All. I'm tired of his whinning and yelling and general BS. Time to go Patty boy.
Domi: One of the best fighters in the league if he can get the jersey over your head. When I saw what he did to Shawn Van Allen I wanted to go to Toronto and shoot him. He grabs a guy with a broken jaw and starts whaling on his face for no reason...Nice one Tie.
So Leaf fans, here's hoping your Eddie "the Mace" Belfour can keep his back in one peice for the playoffs. He's all you got and without him you can't keep up I'm afraid.
I realize that my teams goalie hasn't been that terrific this year but I'm thankful that we have the scoring up front to pump in enough to stay on top. Bondra is a great addition. Once we get Bonk and White back it'll be back to business as usual. I'm hoping for Brendan Witt out of Washington but we'll see. The Pronger story was funny, didn't beleive that one for a second.

pronger aint going anywhere... at least not this year... but he prolly will
deep down inside.. i know the Leafs wont win.......it's not the forwards or defence.. i actually have confidence in them.... it's actually The Eagle.
as long as he's in goal for the Leafs.. we will not win a cup.
that and Pat Quinn behind the bench.
our team is stacked with veterans.... somewhat like the REd Wings... but i feel the Red Wings have a better chance then we do to win.

Ron Francis........................................ is that suppose to help?
Johansson out of retirement and Kilger of waivers......? honestly, are these moves really suppose to help?
should of kept Stajan in the big leagues...

Francis, Johansson, and Kilger are all players that have proven that they can play in the NHL at a high level. Keep in mind that they basically gave up nobody to get them. All 3 of these deals were well worth it in my opinion.
As for Domi, he is a fan favourite because of his community involvement. Probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet of the ice.

I think the average age of the Leafs just went to like 80. Nice to have all the SC rings but in a grind, Ron Francis is not gonna help that much. Kilger is a hard nosed player but gets hurt an awful lot.
Leafs missed the boat so far. They need a good backup goaltender and a STAY at home defenceman who didn't come out of retirement. Belfours back will not last.
Ottawa got De Vries today which is a nice addition IMO. Let's see if they get Kolzig now or stick with what they got.

haha.......... all comments has truth to it... but:
Francis will be a third line center... maybe even 2nd line.... but then what are we gonna do with fitz and joe N. We dont even have a 2nd line to being with!.......... antropov..? com'on! .. that kid is injury prone and has not proven himself imo.
i still think STajan shouldnt of gotten sent to the minors
basically whoever we picked up today..... will be just more depth of back up players, in case of injuries.
Leafs: -----------> like i said earlier...... there is no DAMN SYSTEM in Quinn's coaching!!! Leafs players play with HEART........ and that's it.
and dont get me started about domi..... haha, hate that damn loser. met him once... that guy's a total loser....... a total nice guy only in front of the camera.
