Talking Leaf blowers FI

has anyone ever done a leaf blower forced induction?

http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/gart3sup.html

shows that the t3 has 422cfm

http://www.portable-electric-power-g...eaf_blower.htm

shows leaf blowers from 392-680cfm at the housing.

http://www.growinglifestyle.com/us/a...0/a271638.html
1650cfm leaf blower.

...so, what im getting at is, can we realistically hook up a leafblower and get boost

also, i found some industrial sites with "industrial" use blowers up to 3000cfm. even with 2-90degree bends, over 1000cfm is blown.

the two links that you posted are for gas powered blowers, good luck hooking that up to your engine. OMFG. That is up there with putting computer fans into the intake tube. No offense, but that is a retarded Idea and this thread should be deleted from this forum and put it in general auto ramblings.

but still. all i need is 300cfm and im good.

about mounting, if i got a gas powered industrial one that blows 3k cfm, with two bends = 1000 cfm. mount it in passeger seat charge pipe through firewall and about 3 90 degrees into the tb. with 3, it outta be about 500-650cfm.

one day, im gonna try this.

You know every post he makes somebody says, no wonder you have so much neg rep, or look at his red bars. He is just playing around on most everything he posts (I hope).
Since he has some of the craziest & dumbest ideas, no offense. Hook one up and get a dyno, youll be big pimpin

IKM, this is a great idea! give it a try and post the results. Of course, it won't actually work, but don't let that stop you.

The reason is that leaf blowers dont have the ability to pressurize the exhaust air, only accelerate it. The T3 turbo you linked to makes that flow at about 15 PSI outlet pressure, the leaf blower makes it at about 0 PSI outlet pressure. My guess is that if you plugged the end of the leaf blower it would not build more than .5 psi.

But like I said above, please try this. Post a dyno! better yet, post a video! I need a good laugh today.

i was posting all this cuz, no one has really tried it. and sure is better to try this than buy headers, exhaust, intake and still get walked on by all other cars. besides, if it made like 10whp. then its way worth it.

another thing i was thinking of, instead of the leaf blower, just get the gas motor that can compress air thats adjustable in speeds.

ps. about the red bars, it's from theiving and failing alot.

you know what would be a kick in the ***** if all those fake superchargers and TB spacers that sell for like 39.99 was the key to making the 7thgen fast, i know its not but if it was that would be funny, everyone on this site would sport APC, and e-ram stickers
