nah... im prolly gonna clean it soon though.

the build up of dirt and whatnot... will happen, it'll prolly just happen faster and more often in the winter....

im not sure about winnipeg... but it's not that big of a risk to leave it on here in TO, imo.

If you were worried enough about the cai to take it out in the first place, why would you put it back in now that there will be lots of spring showers and puddles?

i wasnt worried about the puddles, i was worried about snow buildup underneath the car and that it might build snow up and cover the filter, and therefor not take in any air.

lol you're the first person whom I've heard of taking off their CAI. I have a SR so I don't have to worry about build up and puddles. all the guys here in Ottawa leave thiers on all winter, they have had no problems.

I say put it on

Never took mine off. However I definitely WILL be cleaning the filter this spring, prolly while I'm installing my new neons.

the k&n recharge kit is a must, anything else may mess up the performance or effectiveness of the filter.
