I love my Revo Short shifter!!! When you first install it you will notice how short the throws are for about the first two weeks. After than you get used to it and the feeling kinda goes away, but its still better than stock.
Personally, I think Honda should have put this type of a shifter on our cars right off the factory floor. It feels much "sportier" if you will. The throws feel great, however you'll feel each shift more if that makes sense. Think of shifting from 1st to 2nd, you have to pass neutral. If I remember, you don't really feel a thing when passing neutral. However with the Revo you can tell you've left first, entered neutral, and then enter second. Its nice to know, er, feel that you shifted correctly into 2nd, you can feel it engaging.
Of the small amount of things I have done, this shift was one of my favorites, right after my InJen CAI. You can hear the CAI and you can feel the Revo. I just wish I could have gotten this deal when I ordered mine.
My only little complaint is that evrey six months I have to reapply grease to the shifter to keep everything running nice and smooth. You don't have to do this, but its just part of the basic maintence that I do to my car.
If you have $100 USD you can spare and want a worthwill mod, get in on this deal!!!
Any other questions, feel free to post to this thread and I'll respond. No point in PM'ing directly because I'd like to keep comments like this available for everyone.
Cheers,
xian

Yes on the grease....I would highly recomend you re-apply it every now and then. The shifter starts to feel too notchy when the grease dries. Buy some good grease (not the cheap wal-mart stuff) and it should last you a while. I have the shifter and it's great. It def changes the feel. I use it with the stock shift ****, but a smaller one would enhance the short feeling even more. I was considering getting the base RSX one since it's just like ours but shorter. I'm not from Canada so I don't know if $100 is a good deal (I got mine for $75 shipped but I don't have customs to deal with) Any other questions about the shifter itself just post them here and I'll try and answer as fast as possible.

you got it for 75usa shipped b/c you dont have customs right.
i read the other thread earlier this morning... dont remember whta i read no more
but im convinced im gonna order this.
i was thinking about teh solo shifter...
but if you say 100US shipped is worth it.. it'll take both of your words for it.
'cause i havent called around yet asking for prices....
Yea...$75 shipped is without going through customs. I don't know what all that entails. I know the shifter makes a big differnce in the feel of driving. I recomend getting one...I just don't can't say if $100usd is a good price for canada. It's only $25 more than what I paid though. Good luck
I installed it myself...it's not complicated...the hardest part was taking hte middle section out. That was only hard because I was worried I was going to scratch it up or break something. Now that I have done it it's easy as pie. The shifter itself is 4 screws and some cables...it's seriously very easy. Pheaton was making a DIY for the revo...check in the DIY section...it might be there. The directions from revo are decent...just the pictures suck. It goes in exactly like the stock one comes out. Good luck.
I didn't take measurments...but it's noticably shorter. The shaft itself in like 4 inches shorter (guessing here since I dont have them side by side) I'm not sure what thats translates to in throw. But like I said..it's a noticable diffrence.

You should be good with this vendor because he's paying a "Vendor's Membership" just to post in the Group Buy section. Whether he's paying monthly, yearly, or lifetime its not something a scammer would do. He's here to make money and knows this site can generate lots of money if he plays his cards right. i.e. good service, quick response to questions, ships fast, etc.
Btw, SlimmKidd I just responed to you PM.
