whats the best place to get ps2 mod in GTA? and how much, which mod chip?

Pacific Mall, 90 bucks, which model..i don't know the name but its the newest one which doesn't require you to use the game shark. Direct boot. hope that helps

if your able to do it yourself or can find someone with a good electronics background, try this site: www.modchip.ca This is where I got my modchip for my PS1 years ago and did all the soldering myself.

yea modding ur ps2 is really easy, u just need some soldering skills thats all, but u can easily harm ur ps2 doing it. Pacific mall is ur best bet, it takes about an hour to do.

I ordered the PS2 mod chip from that website 2 years ago and tryed installing it... I fried my $500 PS2

blah.. actually get a chip that can be turned off.. thats what i have.. i think its a magic chip. i just figured out how to turn the damn thing off so i can play online.. pretty neat ~_~

sorry to hear that. but yeah it does take some skill. the actual circuit board in the system is WAY smaller than the pics on the website. for $90 I think I'll also have someone else do my PS2 also

^^ thats exactly what I said when I received my modchip and I opened up my PS2! I was wondering why in the hell does it look so big in the picture? well I learned my lesson and If I do decide to get a mod chip, I'll let a pro do it
