2003-'04 gauges on a 2001-'02.... Is it possible?

Is it possible 2 change the gauges on the 2001-'02 Civic's and replace em with the 2003-'04's?

if i'm not wrong, i remember someone trying it and saying that it isn't plug n play since they have diff connectors. but then again, diff connectors might just mean splicing a few wires with the original connector.
