Talking Oops... who did I cut off today?

I am sorry ... it was a white 7th gen civic with blacked out lights. Going W on Hwy 7 just past Bathurst. The lady infront of me pissed me off for several lights and I made a quick left lane change and gunned it to 120 than change lanes to pass her.

Why were you speeding so much? Were you in that much of a rush to get to where ever you were going?

Going 120 in an 80 zone when you're G1... mmm... mmm... vroom vroom.

Well. than again.. with AzimuthX.. you can't be sure He could be referring to miles per hour.

I swear... sometimes he makes that CR-V sound like it can drag race faster than BMW M3s sometimes.

Speeding == Bad

I have a heavy foot and the urge for competition & fun on the road, maybe thats why I am never bored of driving. I wish the CR-V can draw M3... if the engine was in a Civic, than it would own the M3. Can't wait for my G2 and be cruising with you guys...

Dude, just do us a favour and dont crash, "URGE FOR COMPETITION & FUN ON THE ROAD"? do you even realize what's wrong with what you are saying?

"CRVic" will NEVER own M3, you'd gotta be kidding me. I thought you'd know considering you have been here for some time...

I'm paying 500 (just went up 30-40 actually, that would be 540 ) for civic coupe... PER MONTH!!!

that's like 6000 per year..

with not a SINGLE POINT, not even a damn parking ticket.

sometimes I wonder, what if I lived in some hicktown, out of Toronto... I could be driving a 350Z and still have money left over for gas for the same money... although it's just a pipe dream of mine... (besides i'm happy with my civic ^^)

why do I pay so damn much because some other ignorant fools crash their mommy's cars and claim the hell out of the insurance companies... I'm with iamfob on this one..

i am lucky that i can put my car under my dad's name but i am the principle driver and i am still paying $2200 a year and i think that's a rape and i have my licence since 16, did my young driver BS course, no ticket in speed nor parking, no accident, no claim since 17years old
and the rate goes UP each year for no reason

well street racign and dumb kids with mommy's car doing stupid stun doesnt help the rate to drop

so i have no choice but wait until i am 25....3 more years to go...sigh

EBP2K2: forgot to mention, if u go to school in small town then tell insurance company that u go to school in waterloo or london (for example) and see if the rate will drop
otherwise try to find a relative that live in those hicktown and see if u can use their address there and pay lesser premium

good luck with insurance

I'm trying to move my insurance to Kingston.... I asked for a quote, and I got 170 per month....

not bad, 65% cheaper.

Thats a nice generalization

There are more dangerous drivers than myself. You can make all the comments you want, its not going to do anything to me, I have the privilege to drive on public roads just like you. Now if I abuse my privilege, feel free to report me to a local authority for further punishment. I am a driver that pose potential threat to others safety, I signal my lane changes, I drive according to traffic and weather conditions, and I think for other people's safety. The reason I made the lane change was because some idiot was driving uncessary slow which causes a more dangerous situation than driving fast. If you do more research, studies clearly show that driving faster is more safe than driving slow, hence the new proposal to raise the expressway's speed limit to 120km/hr. You can do all the generalization all you want, its not helping for people calling yourself as a ricer. Does it matter if you lable me - "teenanager that cause insurance to go up", clearly, no. Go ahead, don't care, I earned my privilege to drive and I will maintain that status.

What about the no good young adults modifying their cars (and I suppose this is a good role for the younger ones to follow)? You change parts of your car to parts that do not meet Canadian standards. Bumpers, lights, suspension, etc. Bumpers that crushes easily compared to original equipment, clear tail lights that are hard to see during the day, white lights that cause extreme glare (or incorrect HID conversion), lowering springs modifying the intented suspension of the designed vehicle, and et cetera. Ken, your silly yet stupid generalizations does no good, your complaints will never affect insurance rates. Stay off the road if you don't like how other people drive, and stay on as a good citizen and report all violators of the HTA to the authority. There is a **** load of more "older adults" who are supposedly more immature than teenagers that are incredibly dangerous on the streets and yet they are setting a terrible example. The was a reason I made a quick yet safe lane change was because of a driver driving uncessary slow causing a threat to myself (no way I am travelling 50km/hr on Hwy 7 while cars coming up on my as at 90km/hr).

wtf.. azimuthX sounds like a page out of DMV driver license handybook..

you are the one who said, "I ENJOY COMPETITION & FUN on ROAD"

as soon as you perceive other drivers as competitions, and driving as a competition, you are reckless.

grow up.
