wheres your spirit guys, i mean, hell, id drive 6 hours for a meet/ car show if my schedule permitted, i look at it as a chance to travel, see new places, and meet new people, and getting lost(provided you can read a map) is all the more fun!!

yeah, its legal, its just that you know how parks are, theyre generally family oriented, and theres a pool in the park where little kids are, so its prohibited. plus, even if it WAS alowed into the park, id still ban it from our event because if theres alcohol there and the po-po decide to show up, and a minor or two happens to get ahold of a bottle, then its on the planning committee's asses, and that WILL NOT happen.
Hmm. It looks like it's going to be a drive for me and Curt as well. We live right outside of DC as well as a few others that are going, so it should be an interesting trip to say the least.
We took a road trip last year to Atlantic City for Hot Import Nights and it really wasn't that bad and it looks like it's about the same distance, give or take a few miles. Good times. Road trips for car shows/meets are always fun. Driving a distance makes it seem more worth it, especially if you travel with other cars. I dunno. Just a girly perspective.
And I think that with whatever the commitee decides for the "Food" portion of this, is cool. I don't care what we end up having, all I know is I'm gonna make sure my bootay eats. LoL. Too bad about the "no alcohol" rule. I'm turning 21 two days before the meet. LoL. But I understand why we can't have it. If the po-po's came rollin' by and saw one of the non-legal dudes with a Corona in hand, we'd be shut down before we even knew it and ruin the whole thing. It's cool.
We can't wait.

but i guess if a bunch of people are craving it after the meet (or durring) we can get a bunch together and go get some sushi. id be down for that. hehehe

Hey, I asked you in the beginning if you wanted me to email you and you said NO! so you haven't gotten any emails. If you want them, send me your email through PM, IM, or email.
You know we are having a summer 7thgen meet in july.

I was absolutely crushed when I read I can't put a keg in my trunk... but I totally understand the logic. I might just have to sniff my gas tank then to have a good time.
Any objections to bringing non-civics along for the party too? My one bro from Hershey helped me do a lot of work on my car and I'd like him to tag along in his RX-7. But if we want to keep this civic exclusive I could pick him up I guess.

One, there will prolly be sooome rice there, but you cant eat it if you know what i mean, lol. but anyway, yes we would like to keep the non civics to a minimum, i mean i like other cars too, but this is a meet geared towards a website dedicated to a certain car, granted we do have other cars, but we're not going to reject anyone if they bring somethin else, but there will be raw eggs ready to be thrown, lol, just kidding

Anyway, other cars should be kept to a minimum. I agree. If it's your only car and you're on 7thgencivic.com since you want to buy a 7th gen civic, or say... You really love 7th gen civics, but don't drive one. Maybe you own a 7th gen, but it's in the shop getting fixed or worked on. Then I say it would be allright to go to the meet in another car. I have been out of the loop for a while... as I am in Ohio. But I will be back in MD for the summer and depending on the date, I plan to attend the Mid Atlantic Meet.
I voted for BYOF... I think it went well last year and if organized properly it would be fine this year...
I can't wait to see all my 7th Gen peeps and of course see what changes have taken place. Are we using some of the ideas that were suggested... awards, most improved ride... etc.
