Stop Sending Us Smoke Canada!

It is rather eerie that the smoke is coming over PA, NJ and NY from those fires in Canada! I didn't believe it at first. I feel for all those people up there, it must be pretty scary and stuff to have fires raging around you...it is rather eerie around here too, to look up at the sky and see the bright red sun behind a thin wall of smoky stuff...weird!

yeah, i totally agree! Saturday almost looked overcast like it was the middle of winter, and that sun WAS somethin else, wasn't it! Then they said it was supposed to clear out for yesterday, but it had to do the opposite and get worse to the point that you could smell it... sheesh! Well, at least it's blockin the sun and keeping us a lil cooler around here

Yeah, I was at the import drag show all day Saturday in Jersey and it started getting overcast after 6pm. It was weird and I was like "WTF, it isn't supposed to be raining today!" But it is scary, hopefully it will clear out today, I was just out and it was still a lil hazy. I heard some people could even smeel the smell like something was burning! Freaky!

Yeah, that was pretty creepy. My neighbor said his mom told him that and he called her a crazy old bag. Looks like she was right.

Yea we were heading home from Rehoboth yesterday around 8:30pm and it looked like a wierd fog, but it was dry so it was definitely smoke.
That put my mom in her place tho cuz she absolutely would NOT believe it was here all the way from Canada. I kept saying "wait till we find out on the news and then you can sit there and wallow in your wrongness", to which she gave me an annoyed look. HA! That'll teach her to shrug me off

lol but anyway you silly canadians...always starting trouble...

smog? from where?! haha.... unless NYC, Philly, etc got a sudden surge of visitor traffic causing enough smog to cover 1/8 of the country, I still got my money on 250,000 acres worth of fire

a fire as big as 250,000+ acres will take weeks if not months to extinguish... Personally, I'm preparing for a long *** haul
