Canada just lost the Gold medal today (or won the Silver, by loosing.). against a team (Russia) who they beat prev. 5-2...we were winning 3-1 in the second...then frigggin blew it!!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] So close...then they blow it!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] And besides that...I had to work 13 hours today...and I only get paid for 8[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] Cause Im on salary...crappy eh? Oh well...I made $50 in side deals It covers the costs....see ya!

sux about the pay man... though by law they are required to pay you for every hour worked, and for every hour that accounted as OverTime, they are required to pay you 1.5x your salary.... either that or they are required to give you 1.5 hours off for every hour OT you worked.

I used to work on salary and I was fair about my hours... i take 1 hour off for every 1 hour overtime, since my boss didn't wanna pay out overtime [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

it's so disappointing even to get a silver medal, since every canadian is expecting gold from this tournament. I thought they have a good shot at it, the talents on that team is tremendous. Hopefully Canada would grab gold in the olympic, that's the most important thing

But remember a few years back when Canada would got hrough the whole tourny undefeated?!?!?! We used to rule the world!! 5-6 Gold medals in a row!! What the heck happened?? Damn...I know, my boss is pretty good, he will let me have a half-day or something.

they were clearly the MOST talented team there...
a 6 game tournament can't possibly determine the best team...
only who can perform at the most crucial times and who's got the momentum...

but whatever... still proud of 'em... think of what they're gonna do in the NHL...
