Well, it had to happen one day...
No the civic's not destroyed, but someone smashed my window, with seemingly a large blunt object because I also have a nice dent on the body right above the window. Thank god they didn't take any parts. It stills feels like I was violated and now I have to waste my time fixing it. Any of you guys feel free to suggest some good shops!

Yea, kinda weird. They opened the glovebox and took the contents out...just papers and documents in there. Didnt touch anything else. If I had known ahead of time, I'd gladly leave my window open.

This sucks,
It happened to me once back in 95. Some A-Hole broke my passenger window and stole my radio face. There was $25 cash on the seat and they did not steel it. It made me mad that they did not take anything that they could have actually used. It was just a big wast of my time and money.

they took you insurance card and registation? cause they do that for future "crimes" soo they will keep breaking into your car after u get it fixed 10 times. happened to my brother in NJ.

*******s need to work for what they get. last month someone broke into my car but didnt know how to take the faceplate of my radio off. so they just messed it up rather than take anythiing.

Nothing was taken. Reg and Insurance card was still there. Did not report to police as this was at 11 at night in Herndon. I also got egged there a year ago in this same parking lot. Cost will be 1K and deduct is 500 and contributions are accepted. PM me for paypal info!
But in all seriousness, Im just lucky these werent real car thieves. If they had taken my steering wheel, seats, cd player and really ****ed up the interior, I would really be depressed. Lesson learned? Dont park so far away that thieves can do what they want without attracting any attention.

There are some glass places in Rockville that will come to your house or work and fix it for you, thats what I did when it happened to me. But I do know a good friend who installs alarms.. he just installed mine with a prox sensor. Very nice work.
