shock install help!

i'm having alot of trouble breaking the bolt in the rear shocks.
i've installed the fronts but i can't break the 17mm bolt attached to the shock.

if someone can give me a shop that will either break the bolt for me or just install them. i don't mind that much since i need an alignment anyway.

i've called a few places and they refuse to put in parts not bought from there cuz its not in their policy.

so if anyone can give me some help i'll be greatful.

im in northern va

Try a breaker bar or something. I've never had a problem getting those bolts out, the torque spec is pretty light so its probably just rusted in.
An impact gun would probably get it out, but you'd still need to wiggle around with the bottom of the shock to get the bolt through the bushing.

I had that problem with mine. The bolt was rusted into the rubber bushing. Impact gun or bar wouldn't break it loose. When it turned, the bushing would twist too. I ended up cutting the shock off with torches.

^it seemed that i had that problem at first too. the bushing would twist but when i let go it would spin it back to the original position. I just maintained pressure and used a lot of liquid wrench. and it finally gave in.

the other side was so easy to remove...it was disgusting......
