yeah, the wing's a problem, but really, if you knew half the crap that drove around here, you'd agree with me...the entire county, there's a 1st gen Eclipse, w/ neons, stickers, body graphics, and a stock motor, and a 1999 Eclipse that really doesn't look half bad, but the yellow throws it off....black car, yellow top that starts on the hood and goes back to the wing. It's pretty quick, and just back from Indy Import Performance, it's been there for 3 months now, so I don't know what he's got now...but that's literally the best car in the county (other than my old boss' NSX)

You know wings on front wheel drive cars slow you down and decrease handeling?

Not on a slow 4-cyl car. Wings and spoilers do little on cars of that nature. However, a huge alumin or other material wing will just add unneeded weight to a car, so that can slow it down, although not that substantially, and franky, it just comes down to the fact that they're just plain uuuuugggly.

Down force on the rear wheels = less force on the front wheels.

as dumb as it sounds a wing makes more sense on the hood than the trunk on a fwd car after that being said its even dumber to put it on the back.
