3 months old gas

As you all know my drivers license was suspended for 3 months. That means my gas is 3 months old in the tank. What should i do, can i still drive with this 3 months old gas thats still in my tank or should i go to a local auto shop and get it removed and fill up new gas?

if you're that worried, get a gas can, go get a couple gallons of premium, dump that and some "Dry Gas" (aka gas line antifreeze/water remover) in the tank. That should clean it up a bit.

okay... i'm being serious now....

it would be a good idea to just run the engine, or even move the car on the driveway...
but it shouldn't be a problem if the car is new...

the gas wont hurt but you should have started the engine like once a week and just let it run for a minute or two

Let it warm up before you go anywhere. Like turn it on and tune the radio or something...let it idle for 5 mins and you'll be safe...

Gas needs to sit for 8+ months before is becomes bad to use, even then you may be able to fire the car up and go....

I have a 90 GT Mustang that sometimes sits in the garage for 6 months before I start it and drive it, with no problems. Even if your gas was fouled, (which I know it isn't) the worse thing that could happen would be a clogged fuel filter.

Civics have plastic gas tanks also, so you don't have to worry about rust.
