Fake Type S motor bought - EBay
It is in Canada, so maybe a TypeS up there is like the regular RSX here, but that motor isnt a TypeS (US) motor. That cover that says 2.0L i-VTEC is black on that one, and you can check, any real TypeS motor has a silver cover like that. Oh well, i guess that person will find out that he just wasted 4 grand.
Here is the link to the auction...it just ended a little while ago.
I might be wrong on this, i dont know what its like in Canada, but if that motor was in the States, that would be a base RSX motor.

Rep Power: 0 you can compare it to any Base RSX motor out there, it looks exactly the same. It just looks different from my Type S motor, i know that. Anyone from Canada able to confirm that this guy got screwed out of 4 grand?

Rep Power: 0 red? you are thinkin about the valve cover, i think, which is red on the K20A, but silver on both the base, and the S.
That plastic shield that says 2.0L i-VTEC is silver on both the K20A, and the K20A2, but black on the K20A3.
That black part of the "header" is not there on the Type S either. By the way, that is actually the intake manifold, the header is on the back of the motor.
