acceleration problem...some HELP plz!!

acceleration problem...some HELP plz!!

i got my muffler, custom mid-pipe, and air intake changed recently...but i noticed a problem, i am getting a hesitation on the acceleration...i seem to get a long pause before the car actually moves...Can anybody tell me what the problem is? And is there any solution for this??

u may have a leak in your exhaust, otherwise i think you just dont have enough back pressure...

yes i agree.. with the exhaust.. u lost A LOT of ur lowend torque.. so u want to put in a silencer.. even if its not loud.... cause that creates enuff backpressure to accelerate... but u will lose a little bit of topend.. most mods out there are to increase the topend with no regard to lowend

i might have a leak in my pipe...cause when it rains really hard, i hear this weird noise coming for the pipe, should i bring my car back to check for leaks and ask them for reweld on the pipe?.

I wouldn't worry about the exhaust too much. By modifying your intake and exhaust you gained top-end hp and tq but lost a lot of bottom end tq. All i did was remove my resonator box and I noticed a hella difference in the amount of low-end tq but high end saw some improvements.

i did removed the resonator box...but i am still getting a hesitation. Is that really common among our cars?

What kind of exhaust? All you people must realize it is flow that is getting the hesitation. Backpressure is just a myth that is behind 4 stroke engines. YOu could but on the silencer to alter the flow of the entire exhaust, and then fix your problem. How big is the piping?
