Would you buy another?
I would, but i would look for one with the better suspension or suspension mods...To me thats always the first stuff that needs be modded....If not a civic then id get a car around same price with best handling....That way i can work on the engine
yup, I'm about to do just that- buy another 7th gen. civic. I use to come on the site all the time until I completely totaled my first 7th gen civic. After I healed up, I bought a F-150. I love having the big truck with a 5.4 liter V8 in it, but I hate the fact that it burns so much gas. So, my dad is gonna take the truck, and I will buy another civic. Some ppl might think thats a strange thing to do, but you dont realize what you have till you lose it, and i really do miss that civic.

But if it happens I can't go over $20000 range, I'd trade in my Civic for another Civic. Not the same gen though; trading for a newer model.

I agree on the quality thing- this is my 5th Honda and my 02 coupe is really not the same quality the rest were. I would consider an Acura but I a turning to the dark side and looking toward a VW, 1.8T engine and maybe a beetle (the ultimate sleeper)

That is not exactly a 'ringing' endorsement.
rscivic, if you get a beetle, promise us you will NOT actually put flowers in the std. equipment dash flower holder. Can't tell you how many women I actually see w/ flowers in that thing. Amazing. In a bad way

If I were to buy another compact I would look into a Corolla. I would avoid any of the domestic compacts and the VWs seem nice but there seem to be a lot of reliability complaints. If I didn't like the Corolla I might buy another Civic, but only a coupe.
As far as midsize, you can't dispute that the new Accord is a nice looking car but I might consider a Stratus V6. I once owned a 4 cyl Stratus and it was ok except for the 2.4l engine, but the Chrysler V6 is supposed to be halfway decent. A V6 Stratus is probably around $6,000 less than a V6 Accord or Camry.

no because domestics are better quality... our civics suck in quality. a crap 2 stage paintjob from the factory, and body panels made out of tin that always rusts... overall i think hondas are starting to suck more and more. .

To keep things on topic, however, if I needed to worry about insurance or gas milage again I would buy another civic.
no i wouldnt buy another civic but might buy another honda though, but honda has not impress me with there models, my next car would still be a vette when i can afford one or the g35 from infinity
I definitely would. My civic was an early build model and had some problems (suspension mainly and rattles) but it is very very reliable.
I bet 03 civics are great cars. I would also trade my civic for an accord in an instant, or even better for a TSX if it was available where I live

Well, we needed to get a car pretty quick, our old one was dying, and we needed wheels. I decided to go new, I was sick of buying other peoples problems. Do I regret buying my Civic? Yes and no. Yes, for the power. No for everything else. The car I have is great. I've had it for about a year and a half, and the only problems that really got to me was the suspension noise, which my dealer fixed without problems. The dealer I went with has been great, the fit and finish in my car anyway, I can't speak for anyone else, has been good. Would I get another honda, sure. Would I get another Civic? Probably not. As has been said already, the new Accord or TSX, RSX-S, or s2000.
