remote wire

I am posting here because knowone replies in tech anyhow I have factory deck becuase i dont want people to know i have a system but i dont know where to hook up the remote wire for the amp can someone please help me out with this one

splice into the factory wiring, and find the on/off for the cd player

There is no remote wire on the factory head unit.. what you have to do is connect your remote wire to your cigarette lighter wire.. (the wire is yellow), and it turns off when your car turns off.. this is what i did........ or you can wire it to your ignition wire.. or to a fuse in the fuse panel.. hope this helps

you could put the remote on a switch so you can turn the system on and off as you please. i know a couple people who have done this, but if you forget to turn the switch off it could be trouble....
