exactly, but the 2003 police interceptor packages are sweet!! it will leave 5.0 gt mustangs in the dust. so they are developing them better! but the others except for the 98 models are pretty slow.

But they are very heavy once you put all the police equipment in them.....you have to think about horsepower to weight ratio!

Well I for one think of Crown Vic's everytime someone mentions a Vic, but that's because I just replaced my '86 Crown Vic for a '03 Vic (LX sedan). It's made me laugh everytime I see it.

BTW, thanks for the awesome forum, I've been a lurking fool here these past few days and learned much.
