oh jesus. I hope he gets nailed for fraud now. It's one thing to claim you have something on a forum. It's a whole other thing to sell someone a car saying that type of BS.

Rep Power: 0 Hey- maybe he messed up his motor (he may not have put that much thinking into his project), but he did have something going; i was thinking along similar lines, which is why i posted my thread on D17A2 to collect more information.
I was gonna try a stroker kit for the D16, to make my motor a D18A2 & then do a high- compression piston, Gude head w/ a ECU swap & other bolt- ons.. 200 hp to the crank is realistic. (the 350+ hp would be w/ NOs)
However i don't see how he could be running his motor w/ the stock ECU. It would need some major re- programming!
This summer, when i get some of my stuff together, i'll post a dyno (my project is nowhere near as ambitious as i'm not willing to do any work on my car that may destroy it)
If anyone's willing to make donations, i could be willing to be more ambitious

Rep Power: 364 Haha... a 10,500RPM redline? Maybe if you were going 130mph in fifth gear and tried to make the all important shift to second you'd hit nine before the son of a bitch blew up. And notice the careful placing of the Si emblem on the dash board.
Also notice that you can't tell how much fuel you have because of that stupid *** guage bezel or whatever it's called. I saw the pic months ago and he carefully kept it out of those pictures.
I hope he gets sued for lying. Saying it's 'fast' is all interpretation. Saying 350hp and 12sec quarters is flat out lying.

As for the 10,500 RPM redline, it is possible; it just needs is the rev- limiter taken off & a well- balanced & blueprinted engine. I've seen civics w/ the redline at 7500 RPM w/ out the engine work. An F1 motor hits well over 13,000 RPM- w/ a 10 cylinder motor!!
So why am i defending him?! Guess since i wanted to do something similar. I'm gonna shut up now...
