Rep Power: 0 Okay, I'm not saying I believe or don't believe him, I'd like proof. But everyone here demands proof, then talks smack about him and his ride, why should he prove anything? If indeed he did spend that kinda scratch on his motor, and if he can get a DOHC ECU to run a SOHC motor, and if it can handle a 200-shot of NAWWWS, and put down some serious times, then props. Now on the other hand, he's had about 6 months, and numerous oportunities to prove to the haters and believers on this site that he is talking the truth. And everytime, he's backed down and not showed. If he's had the cash to dump that much DIY work into his motor, I don't understand why he doesn't have enough to complete the ECU and NAWWWS.
So in the end, I am not calling BS, but at the same time, I don't believe the stuff you're talking Black99. If you have tracks around where you live, I think it's like $20 to make a run. If you don't have a scanner, take the time slip to Kinko's, have them scan it on disk, then upload the picture here. BAM!! Instant proof. Turn the haters into believers, or the believers into haters, it's all up to you man!

whoever put that tach in did it nice.
when you're truely concerned about the engine speed you rotate the tach so the shift point comes when the needle is at "12 o'clock"
no numbers needed, no red, just wait till it's pointing straight up.

Was I the only one that noticed that the motor in the picture and the motor in the car are different?? You look at the one picture where everythings done...you can see the header and the traction bar, the support around the rad is silver, a AEM cold air intake and the spark cover is red...Now take a look at the picture of the car with the hood off...there's no traction bar, silver suport around the rad, no cold air intake or headers...whats buddy trying to pull?? and 350 horses from a N/A 1.6?? where's he living?

I mod my car because i enjoy it. It's not a supra, it's not a skyline, and its not a 10k plus revving f1...... and it will never be, so why pretend?

This is a 2001 civic ex. sohc vtec. i bought the car new 2 years ago with the plastic still on the seats. since i have invested thousands into the motor. it was a 1.7 liter. i have de-stroked it to a 1.6 liter. this is so the motor now is capable of a 10,500 rev limmit. all upgraded internals as follow..
1.6 crankshaft, eagle h-beam rods, arais 11:1 compression pistons, upgraded rings, a.r.p. head studs, metal head gasket, ported polished head, bullfog cam shaft, aem cam gear, hp 4-1 race header with test pipe, full 2.5" tsudo exhaust, gude intake manifold, gude throtle body, aem cold air, holley fuel press regulator, custom gauges, jet ecu, aem alternator pully, front and rear strut bars, roll cage, koni adjustable shocks and struts, eibach sportlines, 20% tint all the way around.
i pulled the motor out myself and did all the work myself, this motor will run in the 12's with the addition of a computer swap $300 and a direct port nitrous system $800, with these upgrades it will put out aprox. 350+ hp. i can have these things done for you if you want, the car has 30,000 miles on the body, teh motor was completley rebuilt at 28,000 and now has 2,000 miles on the motor. it runs great. very strong
