the movie is def not all that but you know we have all seen it and most of us to own a copy of it. It would have been better if they didn't "hollywood" the import cars so much, with the underbody neons and ****.
i just love how they didn't race one the illest cars in the movie: The Skyline, but hey. Its something to watch sometimes for a laugh I guess

I own it on DVD - I pre-ordered it and had it like a week before it was relelased. Anyways, it is a good movie and probably one of the major reasons I started looking into modifying my car, but not so that it was all "NOS"ed out and all ricey.
I do have some rice on my car, but I try to keep it to a minimum. I figure my car will never be very fast, so I might as well do what I can to make it look good. Or at least different.
I remember one time when I drove a friend to pick up his car at the mechanics, and the guy looked at my car and then smiled and said "Fast & the Furious huh?" I shook my head and drove off. Geez, all I had were rims, springs, and an exhaust. I guess that's all it takes for some people ...
But yeah, I thought it was a really good movie, except for a few .. er .. several cheesy lines.
