Storing your car away!

k, i have done my oil change, washed inside and out my car, filled the tank....
now, i have parked my car in reverse with bricks supporting the rear wheels, and no e-brakes. My question is, before i turn on my car 3 months later, do i put it into neutral before starting the car, or do i start it in reverse gear, and than quickly shift into neutral as soon as the car starts in reverse?

disconnect your battery so u will still have power
put in netural before u start it up, that way when it starts the oil gets moved around inside the transmisson cases allowing shift forks and synros to move freely when you first move it.

Why do you leave the car in reverse...never heard that. And your gas goes "stale" after awhile. So why would you fill up your tank and then let it sit for 3 months while the gas breaks down? Bad for your engine...

i remember this from a bmw dealership that my dad uses. they said that when your store it you want to have a full fuel tank because, a half empty tank of fuel will attract water vapor into the tank and then into the gas.. When you store it full of fuel it makes it so that there is no room for the water to get into the tank. It also helps resist corrosion on the inside of your gas lines and the tips of your injectors. Water in your gas is what causes it to go stale... this is what the bmw dealership told my dad before storing our M5..
