4 months? I check my dip stick every month. Although the car shouldnt be losing or burning oil already, still a good idea to check. The Honda dealer by me says every 3500 miles or every 6 months. Use 5W20, it's in the owners manual. go to your local car utilities place, and check for a manual for oil filters. I know Penzoil is PZ-33. Good luck

SOrry, I didnt see that you have 3300 miles. yeah, it's time for change. But check the dip stick 1st. Do you drive a lot of city? or highway? If it's brownish black, change time

when i had my old car, i dont remember changing it every 3500 miles, cuz i use to just fill itup with more oil, why did i fill it up when it was low, rather then get an oil change, it was a 92 corolla. just burned oil faster? barely changed the oil. just filler up

edit: mostly highway, not really highway, long stretches of road going mostly 60 the whole time, about 45 minutes of 60 mph each day

This is debatable topic. Some say stick with what the owners manual says depending on the maintenenance schedule you follow. Others change it sooner, some later. To add to the confusion, I've read that the factory fill from Honda when you first drive it off the lot has more moly(grease) in it. This is why you'll see some references to the factory fill as being a "special" break in oil and that you should leave it in according to the schedule. For me, I did my first oil change at 5000 miles and will change it every 3000 miles from now on using Honda 5w-20 oil and filter.

dont take your car just anywhere. Some places wont bother to change the filter for you. Since youre by Philly, the temps are about the same as NYC, so... a 5W20 rating is good enough.

tdiddy is an unknown quantity at this point
I change mine every 3000 to 3500 miles to be safe, but why does it say you can go as far as 10,000 miles in the owners manual.

i called honda and they said every 5,000 for the oil, and every 10,000 for the filter, i think it varies by your location. Weather and tempature plays a factor in your oil. Dont take it anywhere cause they wont put 5W20 in it, i took my GF's car to an oil change place, and saw them bastards putting 10w-40 in her car after i told him 3 times 5w_20, i made him drain it out and redo it.
