why does integra insurence cost so much for me?

ok, im male, 16. when i was car searching i was originally planning on getting an integra (gs or gsr) called the insurence company and it was some obscene amount per year. and im just wondering why. i know its probably under the sports car classification for insurence companies and i know a lot of people were jacking them for the B18s...but still..why? i just randomly thought about it earlier today. anyone have a good explination or did i answer my own question?

stop complainin. you're 16 and have a car, that you most likely could not have paid for. worry about you sophomore and junior years, coz those matter matter than car insurance.

To insurance companies all two door vehicles are considered sports cars.
As for me 1 reckless driving ticket, 2 speeding tickets, and a DUI and the result is $205 dollars a month with a $1000 dollar deductible.

there are several reasons why it may cost so much

tegs are on "the most stole car in the us" list
your age may effect it
it could be caused by a possible accident rate increase related to integras
your insurance company

Thanks for making insurance so much more for everyone else. People like him is why insurance is so much for guys under 25, stereotypes. If I had anything to do it with you wouldn't even be driving with a record like that.

Insurance companies aren't dumb, they know 1) you are only 16, 2) integras are one of the most stolen cars like the member above me stated, and 3) they know that cars like that are driven by young people who will mod the cars and go racing. Stereotyping sucks a fat one. Insurance make a living discriminating and/or stereotyping people. Welcome to reality!
