I like the body styles of both as well, but if I were to choose between the two, then I would choose the Cobra R. Looks more aggressive. Dont know much about the performance though, but the 03 Cobra has more hp than the Cobra R, right? The 03 Cobra has 390hp! *drooling. Wonder what the next Cobra R will look like and what it will have.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, the 03 SVT Cobra has more power than the Cobra R. Sport Compact is taking a SVT Focus and trying to make it perform the same if not better than the 03 SVT Cobra. But I choose the 03 SVT Cobra because of the power and the looks. Cobra R still looks good but I prefer the SVT.

Rep Power: 338 Guru has got it down. Cobra R was built for track work. There is like, nothing in the cabin, not even back seats. 03 Cobra uses a supercharged 4.6 liter while Cobra R uses a 5.4 liter N/A.

Rep Power: 0 it all depends on your preference....both are products of SVT first off...the new 03 Cobra is best bang for your buck....Supercharged 12 second car for 35000...not to mention the suspension they put on it....then with the Cobra R...you got another 12 second car(NA) but purely built for course racing...me..i would rather have one of the 300 made Cobra R's, more rare, looks attract, and has power to back it up...ive read somewhere of a few peeps who have supercharged the R and even turbo charged it...u can only imagine the gains from that.

Rep Power: 0 I'd take the SVT Cobra, mainly because its a road car. The roads around here suck bad enough in my Civic
As for look, dare I say it, but you can buy parts to make your Mustang look like a Cobra R... Its cheesy to do so, but it can be done

Rep Power: 0 I'd take the Cobra R, mainly because they plopped a 5.4L V8 that gets some beastly 385 hp and 385 tq without the use of a supercharger. That and I dig the body kit. I'm partial to mustangs, since I used to have a 2000 GT
