manual so i can do crazy burnouts and chirp in all 5 gears!!!!

actually... manual cause it:

a) saves gas
b) saves brake pads when i downshift to stop
c) allows me to transfer power better than auto
d) keeps me busy so i don't fall asleep at the wheel
e) allows me to do crazy burnouts
f) allows me to do more crazy burnouts
g) causes me to purchase new tires every other month because of e and f

I am lazy, that is why I got an auto, plus with an auto you drive and talk on the phone, and not worry about shift. J/K If you are that tired that tired that you have to have a manual to keep you awake, you might wanna rethink your sleep situation, or something.

I forgot to include the fact that a manual is almost a grand cheaper. It's not much over the life of the loan but it is substantial to us tight wads.

It has higher resale value because an auto cost more new. It's not because it's an auto in itself. It may be easier to sell.
