Wow, that sucks. Sounds like your automatic tranny just blew. Yeah, our automatic trannies are weak as all hell. Take it to Honda and have them take a look at it.

It seems like your talking about a beretta and not your honda. Well your car might have over heated because the anti-freeze leaked out causing the engine to lock up. If you say the anti freeze is coming out from your block, you may have a crack in the block or is it coming out from where the hose connects to the engine block? Damn, I dunno, I'm just really confused reading that.

sry i typed it in a hurry let me try again in english this time

Im driving an auto beretta for the winter, i was driving down the road and the car didn't shift out of second gear then completely shut off, so i parked on a side road and opened the hood and there was anti freeze coming out of the engine block and the car wouldn't start up anymore i tried juping it and it didn;t work besides the fact that i just put a new battery in there so its not that

BettAr???

First of all, are you sure it was antifreeze, what color was the liquid? Second, if it was antifreeze, where was it leaking from, you say the engine block, but this is very vague. It sounds like your transmission broke, but if I'm correct transmission fluid is red, not the yellowish color antifreeze is. we had a 89 caravan that's transmission broke in the middle of an intersection and all the transmission fluid poored out as it limped to the neerest curbe. If the transmission did break, that could explain why it won't start because something may have locked up in your torque converter, and since the starter motor wasn't made to move the car, it probably won't.
