It's 1.59 around the suburbs of Boston - out a little closer to cambridge it goes up to 1.69, and forget it on the mass pike where it peaks out at 1.73'ish...remember the good ol days when it was dirt cheap? I miss those days...

Premier Gordon Campbell - yeah the one that runs our Province of British Columbia - yeah the one that was caught drinking and driving in Maui just announced he will raise the gas tax another 3.5Cents starting March 1st. What a f#$king moron. Like the gas is not high enough.

I used to believe that the disparities in gasoline prices (Cali is always about 30 to 40 cents higher than Texas, for example) was due to state taxes or locality regulations or something like that.
But then when I was driving back from LA last year after picking up my car, I stopped in some town in California (can't remember the name - but it was near Fresno I think) where the gas prices were EXACTLY the same as what I was paying in Texas at the time. I was like WTF???
Just goes to show that some places like San Francisco (home of the most outrageous fuel prices I have ever seen in my entire life) charge a lot for gas just because they can.
That kind of **** pisses me off. Well actually it would **** me off a lot more if SF was my home and I had to pay those prices all the time, but still...

There used to be a law said a gas station couldn't raise prices of gas until they got their next gas shipment. (which is only logical) Well that law isn't there anymore, so now, they can raise it whenever they want. So even though they may have paid 1.50 per gallon for what they have, they can raise the price of that to what their NEXT shipment will be, even though the current gas was bought cheaper. morons.
Yeah, it's $1.73 here around milwaukee. And that's for 87 octane. I shudder to think what I'll pay in a few weeks when I pull the S2000 back out of storage for the summer. (takes 92 octane)

I know we all complain about gas prices.
But I got a feeling most of us here pay more for mods than they have for gas.
Civics aren't exactly gas guzzler anyway.
although i was definitely surprised by the recent increase.
I didn't notice the increase till I was pumping in $1.699 gas that cost $1.53 about a week or two ago. bah.

Yep, it's a $1.60 for regular unleaded. It's not bad filling up the civic but my wife's v6 accord is getting a weebit expensive.
Getting my gs-r is looking kinda dreary too as they run on premium.
