a/c override and main't reqd light

a/c override and main't reqd light
ok after my crash I think I have developed brain damage. I don't know if there is a way to override the a/c coming on with the defroster.
Also since I got my car back from the dealer the brakes hit VERY hard when the car is cold. Also it grinds. I'm not sure what it could be. It's too frigin' cold up here to check. I owned a cougar and when the maintainance light came on you could reset it. Is that possible on the RSX? Thanks all and watch out for those craZies!!!

Rep Power: 0 Do a search on here for the Civic AC overide...think it maybe in with the DIY's. The 7g Civic and RSX both share the same procedure.
As for the maitence required light your owners manual tells you how to reset it, look for it, deals with holding your odometer button while turning the car on.
