are u sure it was a turbo bc some of the superchargers for that look like a turbo, but then again if u got unlimited resources then a turbod s2k is possible and sure as hell fast

There are 2 known turbo kits for the S2000. One from speedcraft, and I'm drawing a blank on the other. There also can be a custom turbo kit made if someone wants to spend the cash. One such example is the most powerful S2000 known to date. It's around 500RWHP from what I know, and there was a whole lot done to the entire car. I do believe it saw well into the 9's or 10's on DR's. However, the car remained stock on the outside (he wanted a great sleeper) other than larger rims.
As for kits here that are bolt on, there are a few guys who have dipped into 11's running 10psi on stock internals. Most guys run up to 10psi at most with stock internals on the turbos. So it's certainly possible it was a turbo, and yes, the turbo'd S2000's are quick for running a mere 10psi on stock internals.

you're right... but on the same hand, wouldn't you think most higher end or decent turbo kits would come WITH an FMIC?

No. People just assume that because they see FMICs all the time. Not every application will get pest gains from one. For instance in some systems it woul;d actually produce a total system pressure loss greater then any gains through cooling therefore negating the entire idea. this is why i laugh at retards in DSMs with HUGE FMICs in their tiny 20G stock eclipses.
