The older Si started with B16 as well but they are different engines.
Heres the codes for all your B16 needs... I've been looking at a lot of codes recently for a 5th gen hatch swap.

B16 Acura Integra XSi/RSi 1992-1993
B16A Honda Civic SiR (JDM) 1989-1991
B16A Honda Civic (EDM) 1992-1995
B16A Honda Civic VTi 1996-2000
B16A Honda Del Sol/CRX SiR 1992-1996

Just the Si model of the Del Sol came with a B16, the rest came with D-Blocks. Hmm or was it the Vtec model?

ya the del sol s was a SOHC non-vtec
del sol Si was SOHC vtec
and the del sol vtec was a DOHC vtec

then there was the prelude who had an s- SOHC vtec
Si- DOHC non-vtec and a Vtec model which was DOHC Vtec

why does honda not just make everything uniform, that would take away all this confusion with all the different types of cars and models.

because there would hardly be any differences in trim level, which probably isnt the best idea financially

ok.. well first of all... they are doing that with the new accords... they come in dx, lx, ex, lx v6, and ex v6
the dx, lx, and ex all have the same engines... not sure what the features are going to be like, but only the ex has a sunroof...

they're not fast at all. they feel fast at 50mph only cause it's shaking and falling appart. although, it was
reliable.
