Alternatives for Alarm system.......

OK, being poor as I am, my car is my prize possession. it's been attempted stolen three times,
and each time i have to think of a cheaper, more crude method of prevention, or a least theft vengeance.

These attempts where only because i have an alarm wit paging and i'm tired of people tryin to fluck wit it
or tryin to steal my damn car.

So, in one crude attempt...... I took a furry seat cover and putt madd thumb tacks in it...(the sharp point pointing up)
and put it on when i leave my car for the night... but thats not the only thing....... I also write "STOLEN CAR" real big on my
window hahhaa. It **** off with a little soap and water.... but i dun think a car theif will have that at 2 in the morning.

If any0ne has any other theft prevention ideas please let me know..... i need it around my neighborhood

hmm you could disconnect the ignition clip or whatever. I dont know the CORRECT Term for it but when I did a pressure test on the cylinders, i had to disconnect some clips, and then when then when u turned the key it wouldnt start or anything, it would just keep cranking.

okay buddy. Buy a nice 20AMP switch... cut your BLACK W/ WHITE STRIPE IGnition wire... run the cut wire to a switch.. now HIDE THE SWITCH! this will work as the ignition kill. if some1 would try to start your car with the switch off... it wouldnt start... so yea.. thats a simple ignition kill for a couple bucks and about an hour of install. But you need to consider that our cars do come equiped with an immobolizer... your call man. goodluck.

to me.. an alarm doesnt really serve a purpose besides door unlock/lock, trunk pop, windows up, if your car has been tampered, etc it is a theft deterant.. not a theft prevention device. poeple can steal your car if they wanted to. ie tow truck. haha

Doesnt the car come with a chip in the key so that they cant start it without the key for your car?
I know mine has it and they cant steel my car without my key.

You could hire a couple of midgets to camp out in your trunk and then when it sounds like something is going down they can jump out and kick em in the shin and beat their *** with a baseball bat.

Putting additional sirens inside the car is not a bad idea... I will consider that when i buy an alarm.

"I also write "STOLEN CAR" real big on my window"

no wonder youve had so many attempts... thats just asking for attention.

ive heard even more ghetto-er stories on sound domain
this one guy lined the bad of his subs up with razor blades! he said once he came to his car and noticed someone trie to get his ****... there was blood all over the place! nasty well my best advice is just dont play your music loud, or dont rev high (if you gotta exhaust) when you get around your block, and always clear your entire car out (like face plate, cd's, other junk, etc... nothin too big, just make sure the car looks empty) a flashy car will just be asking for it unless youve got the protection on it. I NEVER park my car outside. Why? Because people around my block know what i have in my car, so why park it outside and risk it?

Always in the locked garage

good goin'. i never park my car outside too much in general. my car always is garage kept in my building. but there's always a downfall to that.... you never wanna let people who park next to you know what you got in your car. thats why i always clear my **** out.

if you park outside... u could try to buy a parking boot... i mean its more effective than the club, and it probably dont take that long to put on...
