Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe Thanks.

Matt
agree, skyline engine!
are you trying to say the g35 comes with a skyline engine
G35 comes with a VQ35DE main block. There are numerous models that utilize this block worldwide. As it stands the FairladyZ / 350Z is the most powerful setup to date pushing out 287 hp and 274 ft/lb. torque, approximately 250 hp and 240 ft/lbs making it to the rear wheels. The block is designed to run a stock peak of around 320 hp without modification of internals or adding bolt ons. The new VQ system is run entirely on air/fuel mapping thru the stock ecu. Technically you could swap out the mapping information from a Z into a maxima or g35 and be running the same specs as a Z. Most likely the new skyline will use the VQ block also and nissan will tune-up the mapping to utilize the block as it is designed capable of. I just hope that nissan makes it possible to tap into that stock reserve they have left since basic bolt ons add just about as much power to the Z as they do on a 7th gen civic....

edit: BTW - Current Skyline is the US version Infiniti G35 Sedan. Sorry if my statement confused anyone. Im referring to the next model Skyline pushing the VQ engine to its limits rather than being de-tuned to compromise for a softer feel ride. Bring some of the old school track ready feel of the older generation Skylines back to the market.

Heh, actually the Z was only $40 more every 6 months for me than my civic was! Im guessing the s2k would have been just about the same.

Its highly unlikely that the Z will turn into a "mustang" considering that there are only 28,000 production units being offered to the market this year, and will most likely be less next year.

Oh yea, and the mustang sucks *** and should have died with the camaro....

Oh yeah. I hate seeing those Ferrari or Lamborghini owners who think their car is cool coz they bought it like that! I bet they didn't even install an intake! Money = power = speed. 99% of the time its as simple as that.

This is a tough question and I read all the responses to get everybodys input.
I would like to have both.
No seriously, if I wanted to have a weekend only racer that's pretty much fully done from the factory, I'd get the S2000. I live 5 miles away from a race track/drag strip.
If I wanted a daily driver, then the Z it is. Being that the VQ is in everything ranging from the Maxima, Atima and G35 worldwide, replacement engines shouldn't be too hard and expensive to source. Although, I would only prefer the track edition.

RX-8? Hell yeah! It's already fast out of the box, so I might as well make it all show.
EVO VII? My daily driver if I had a family... it's a 4 door Sedan
