Rep Power: 0 the s2k looks a lil to girlie to me
only a small amount of cars look good drop top the s2k is not one of them. besides im not short im 5'11 so i would not look good in one. not to mention the Z is more of a eye catcher and cheaper. i love their silver and blue colors for it

Rep Power: 0 Ok, first off, there is no such thing as a "decked" out s2000. They come as is from honda, the only options you really have of any value is a hardtop shell and the aero spoiler kit. (up's the cost of teh s2k to a lot more then a track 350z WITH navi) Definitely go with the Z. I personally think it is stupid of Honda to still not produce a factory hardtop s2k and cut back about 4 or 5 grand off the cost of the vehicle. That would have been teh leverage they needed to keep me interested in teh s2k and make my decision between a harsh "toy" like the s2k or a comfortable (touring model) Z for a daily driver.
As far as cost.... Anyone that says the 350Z is "cheaper" should be shot. Using a term like that implies that the vehicle is improperly tuned and built with disregard for quality. The 350Z is less expensive than the s2000 IF you buy a base or enthusiast model, but performance and higher all end up costing more than an s2k hands down. Anyone buying a Z would be stupid to not get AT LEAST a performance model, daily driver shouldnt consider anything OTHER than the touring edition.
edit: BTW- Nismo of Japan has both turbo and supercharger systems for the 350Z already. 4500 bucks for the supercharger and with all STOCK internals, fuel pump, intake, headers, and an aftermarket high flow exhaust pushes 470 rwhp. Chances are US emissions laws would cut down that power gain significantly to keep the vehicle street legal, but its still a very fair game between the 2 even with the s2k being 3 years older than the 350z.

350z HELL OF ALOT MORE TORQUE why paid that much money for a 4banger when you can get a v6. although the s2000 does have a better exterior, handling, and build quality. honda needs to drop a 6cylinder in it.

Rep Power: 0 For an everyday driver I would have to pick the 350z because I would feel clausterphobic in the s2000 everyday.
Weekend warrior, s2000 hands down.
I don't think either is better in reality (i'd pick the honda anyday) it's just a matter of preference. Both will put a big grin accross your face.
