Nitrous Oxide, how does it work? Is it compressed air or is it just gas that fires up more than oxygen?

Is it legal to install in your car in California?

the nitrous postAnd yes, you can install it in your car, legally. However, you cannot use it on public roads... that's illegal. even though people do it anyways.

Actually, just to put in a comment, the legality varies according to state. It is a crime to possess or transport a gas in a passenger vehicle in New York State, so you would not be able to legally install it here. An impound and a large fine would result from the installation in New York. Check your state motor vehicle codes to determine legality.
