trade a 2003 for a 2002?
I have the opportunity to trade my barely used DX for a 2002 DX that is brand new. The only reason I bring it up, is because it would cost me almost $30-$40 LESS per MONTH. Personally, I don't care if it's 2003 or 2002.... they really are about the same. Just want to hear your thoughts??

no, no loss. It's a brand new car, so the 3 year warranty starts when I buy it.
I'm seriously thinking I'll do it. Especially for 30 or 40 bucks LESS a month!

eh. besides the "nicer" interior... and I guess its nicer...
why not? there's no mechanical difference what-so-ever IMO...
I mean a 03,02 to a 01.. thats different.. but a 03 and 02 are the same I believe.
personally I really want a new car right about now.. heh...
oh well.
I say do it. that 30-40 bucks can go to one nice night out... or buncha fast food 99 cent burgers.... or gas for the week/month... or donation for my alcoholic addiction...
heh. jk.
ah... desposable income...

HEHE I could use that money for some IN-N-OUT burgers or something
but yeah the 01's I sometimes wish I hadn't bought the first year but it was in the last production of 01 so it could have been worse.

Are you buying or leasing? If you're leasing I'd say go for it.
However...if you're buying, you have to remember, you're getting a new car BUT its already one year old on the market.
You should take this into consideration as well...

I'd get the 2k2 LX over the 2k1 simply because of it's suspension. It comes with a 12mm rear anti sway bar that can be changed with one from an Si or RSX or JDM Civic/Integra Type R. Yeah, I know yours is just a daily driver but body roll sucks.

sure why not do it.
besides the 03 and 02 are almost identical. the 01s are the weird ones with all sorts of issues.
