well toda racing have some 'vtec killer' camshafts, i don't know what you mean by 'double clutching' because that doesn't do anything... vtec in our cars just basically opens the remaining 4 valves under high rpms...

Hmmm... the all motor hatches around here running 11's/12's still have VTEC on their H22A's....

not my auto... and no i'm not talking about F&F i hated tha movie so BS....dbbl clutch is same as downshifting...isn't it...but a different method... didn't really know what happened cause he really drives with the heel an toe mthod... so i couldn't really telll which pedals he really had working...i saw him clutch down but he reved higher and they i got lost, his footwork is amazing...i was in passenger.. of the type R

Drag cars remove their VTEC mechanism because what is the point of having a cam profile changeover at 5500 rpm when during the race you never drop below 6000 or 7000 rpm?

Double clutching is good for circuit racing. Otherwise, you are just putting wear on the trans

I thought that Drag cars remove there VTEC profiles mainly because most of those drag cars are turbocharged and VTEC isn't necessary good for turbocharged cars because of overlapping.
