V6 Accords question

I was talking to my friend about how I don't see the new accords catching on in the import world even tho they have the new v6 and he mentioned that he thought he heard that it had the intake manifold welded down. I'm to lazy to go to the dealer and look for myself. Anyone know? Just a random question, thanx

well there sint many out there, i heard there was going to be one per dealership. and the 4door is not a modding car. so that is probebly why, plus it is way too new, so not many parts out for it yet.

People are probably waiting for the V6 manual also.

I don't see how the 4door isn't a modding car except for issue of scarce to no parts. It would be a great car to mod. Just give the Accord a year and 1/2, and then it will catch on more. That way, more ppl see it-therefore more ppl will buy one, and in that time, ppl can get one cheaper on the used market and begin to mod it. The civic was the same way. I know there was this cloud of BS going around about "every dealership getting one coupe"......its an ACCORD, there are enough made so everyone in the US can have one. Thats mostly hype and gossip, just wait until the 'new-ness' goes away and itll be just like the last gen.

Go drive past your local dealer, you will probably see more than one Coupe and Sedan. I know cuz I have. I live in a decent sized town, 85,000 people, one Honda dealership, I drove past saw 2 coupe's and 5 sedans out front. That isnt counting how many extra there might be in there overflow lot. It's an Accord. Its not a custom built Bentley.

I have seen several already. There are several in lot I park at. And there are tons at the dealer. Both coupes and sedans in just about every color in v6 and 4 cylinder. I also see at least a handful on the road anytime I go somewhere. Atleast around here the dealers aren't having any trouble getting ahold of them. I was making a reference to the new accords looking even more like a family car then ever, and at least in my opinion I don't see them catching on in the import world due to the new look. I don't care for the new look, I like the previous gen accord.

on a side note for anyone that has worked on them preivous gen accords. They are so easy to work on and seem considerably better built then our civics. nice cars, just need to get rid of that P.O.S. tranny.

I see more of the new 4 door Accords out now then the coupes but they had 2 V6 coupes sitting on my dealer but they were auto of course since most people are waiting for the Manual. But I like them too bad the market is too bad for me to get one
