I'm on my way home from work today in my trusty winter beater, and I come upon a stop light where a white, lowered car is waiting. I can see it's a cavalier, but as I approach, something catches my eye. A honda badge. On the back of the car. Where the chevy badge should be.

....... um..... Hold on, let me think. Actually, no, cuz if I think about that for longer than 5 minutes, blood will shoot out of my nose.

So, I get next to the car, and there's a guy sittin in the driver's seat, bumpin along to some music. On the front window is a nice large VTEC sticker across the top. Interesting is about the only word I can come up with for this. I look over, and he catches me looking. This incites him to throw a few revs my way.

Of course, I'm game, so I rev back and inch forward a bit. The car is lowered quite a bit. The tops of the wheels are almost touching the wheel wells. And he has some ugly front spoiler that damn near touches the ground.

Light turns, and we both take off. He beats me to 70mph, though not by much. After the race, I pull ahead and wave him over. I gotta have some fun with this one. He seems reluctant to pull over at first, but follows me into a store parking lot. At this point I see he has 4 fog lights. Great.

Me: Damn, that ****'s fast man. What do you got done to that thing?
Him: AW, it's got lotsa stuff done to it. I can run 12's but not on street tires.
Me: Damn man, that's tite. What's under the hood.
Him: Oh I got a turbo and intake... stuff like that.
Me: Really? Intake and header?
Him: Yeah, and exhaust.
Me: Oh what kind? headers and exhaust?
Him: Yeah, I got them and got the turbo. It really pushes you back in the seat. Chicks love it.
Me: Wow. What kinda turbo? Centrifugal or Roots?
Him: Oh Centrifugal, that's the best kind.
Me: Yeah, definitely. That's so awesome.
Him: Aight, well good race.
Me: Yeah, later.

I know how you feel man. The other morning I was sitting in typical rush hour traffic when I look over and see these big ugly chrome rims attached to a ford contour. Proceeded to check out the car and saw a big Vtec sticker on the side of it. Then, noticed a type r emblem on the rear. I was just shaking my head and got up next to the guy when traffic started moving. Couldn't see the idiot because his tint was so dark...WTF

Don't these idiots know what manufacturer uses those names...sheeshhhh...makes ya want to bish slap em or something..

Well, my other favorite part is the fact that turbo'ed cars don't have headers.... and Centrifugal and Roots are types of superchargers... not turbos.

Thats almost as good as the time I saw this kid in 2k1 lx, nothing but neons everywhere, and completely bone stock. I pull over to talk to him. And we start talking and I show him my car, kid almost ***** a brick and ill be the first to admit my car aint $hit compared to almost everyone's car on these forums, but anyways, he tells me he really like my car, and then he starts up. He tells me that he has a "Spoon" motor on order from japan. And you could smell the bs at this moment. So, anyways, I tell him that I dont think Spoon is making D17's and then he sits there for a second and thinks, then fires back, yeah they are while trying to throw the image of what he is saying is the word of god. And at this moment I can fire back and totally humilate this guy, but I declined because his gf was sitting there and I didnt want to do that in front of his gf (at times, I have slight swell of compassion for the common idiot) and I left the guy laughing in my head. But right before I left the guy, I told him Ill come looking for him next spring (this happened like three months ago) and we should race. And he said definitely, its so funny because he has no idea whats coming for him [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]. Anyways, thats one of many stupid car stories.
