Car Insurance?

What's up fellas and ladies. I was considering purchasing an RSX-S, up until i decided to check with my insurance company (USAA) and get a quote. Guess how much....no, really, go ahead....
The answer.... $2782 - every six months! I was like WTF?!
Tell me that ain't some ****. So anyway, i checked for an '03 Civic EX Coupe and for six months, i'll pay $2370.
How does everyone else out there compare, and what company are you with... Of course i have some "minor" moving violations, i'd like to see who is getting the shaft worse than me and by how much...

I have a 02 EX Sedan and I only pay 100 a month. I am 17, have been in no accidents and have no tickets.

Well that is all my mom asks for... the real payment, unless thats it, which I doubt, is unknown to me.

A DUI will get ya in at 350$$$ a month.......and I'm over 21 w/ no tickets/accidents.......accept a 40 in a 20.......it used to be 130$$ before DUI.
good luck......oh....and go w/ RSX-s....find insurance somewhere cheaper.......
try a company called Allrisk. I don't know if they're everywhere....but pretty big.

I pay $980 a year on my Civic and $473 a year on my cargo Van. I'm 35, married (really seperated) and have no violation in the last 9 years. I deal with Gieco. I can't believe how high everyones insurance is, I guess i have to quit complaining that my insurance just went up $100 a year.

"CHEAPER" doesn't mean "BETTER" though...

FOR A GREAT EXAMPLE...............JUST GET SMACKED BY A DRIVER WITH PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE (CHEAP-*** COMPANY WHEN IT COMES TO PAYING OUT FOR REPAIRS TO YOUR VEHICLE DONE BY ONE OF THEIR INSURED)

Where the hell do you have insurance? I have basically the same record (my license has never come close to being revoked though =) I totalled an 89 accord and got two moving violations in one year, then USAA threw me into General Indemnity Coverage, which blows donkey *****. BTW i'm in Maryland

<laugh> I think I'm moving to Oregon...... I pay 187 a month - 21/yr with 5 spd tickets (spread out over 4 years) and 1 accident that was my fault. I am through American Family, used to have State Farm but they dropped me after my first accident (only had one speeding ticket at the time..... I think that's bull....)

Hehe, some of my friends are *VERY* jealous of my insurance plan...
CAD$125/mo ($1500/yr) on my 02 Si (EX in the US). Even less now that I'm driving teh winter beater car! ($80/mo for plpd on beater + fire/theft on Civic)

BTW, I am a 21yr old male/driver training/no accidents/no tickets (or shall I say none that the insurance co knows about )
plus, I get a HUGE *** discount for having a 75% and up average in university! I'm definately not complaining !

I pay 3200 CND a year for my insurance.

It's a good deal cause I work for RBC and got the insurance thru them. They gave me a 40 % discount cause i'm staff.

i'm 22, have no tickets, 1 accident when i was 16.

I'm 19 and have a clean record, I'm with 21st Century and I pay a little over $1,500 a year for my civic... I might be getting an Si so I called for a quote... and I'd only pay $2010 a year for it. not too bad. I think my boyfriend pays like $3,000 a year for an integra through Mercury...

** I have full coverage, my deductible for collision is $200, and comprehensive is $100

$342 for 6 months with Travelers
20, clean record, and I'm still on my parents plan. I think if I went on my own plan it was around $900 for 6 months.
